Seattle Seahawks sign Milloy
The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed S Lawyer Milloy to a one year contract according to Jason LaCanfora according to Twitter. Milloy, 36 has a slight history with head coach Pete Carroll.
Milloy’s best days are behind him and this will most likely be his last year in the league. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Seattle Seahawk Walter Jones retires
The Seattle Seahawks have announced that #71 OT Walter Jones has officially retired. The Seahawks have also immediately retired his jersey number and the State of Washington has declared Friday April 30th to be Walter Jones day.

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is returning to the NFL to give coaching in the pro game another shot and it appears that he has learned from his mistakes. Carroll had a brief stint in the 1990′s in the NFL, spending a year in New York with the jets, and three in New England with the Patriots. After the end of the 1999 NFL season Carroll was released from New England and Carroll left the coaching ranks until 2001.
Seattle trades for another RB
The Seahawks are really rebuilding the backfield today. First it was a trade with Tennessee for RB LenDale White and now the Seahawks have obtained RB Leon Washington from the New York Jets. Obviously Seattle expects Washington to recover fully from his knee injury.
LenDale White traded to Seattle
Breaking news: NFL.com is reporting that Titans RB LenDale White has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks, terms haven’t been released yet.
The USC grad and Denver native will now be reunited with his college coach Pete Carrol.
